Minorities and low income folks were thought that they would not account to anything in life. This paragraph explains that men, women, minorities, and etc. that they should prove those people wrong and that they should speak up for themselves and what they believe in. These people should show responsibility for their actions and go after what they want out of life.
A student would agree to what the teacher assigns. The teacher agrees to teach and help them as best they can. Ethical and intellectual concerns connect because ethical is what you know is expected and intellectual is your thoughts. Ethical and intellectual are very important but I think a person should “do” them.
I love how you said, These people should show responsibility for their actions and go after what they want out of life." I agree 100%. What would we have if we never go after our dreams? Good point!
